Mid-Atlantic Grilled Flank Steak

Flank steak is marinated in a flavorful combination of soy sauce, lemon, fennel, ginger and chili powder. It is bold, yet easy to prepare!

 

Makes 6 servings.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Refrigerate Time: 30 minutes

ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 tablespoon McCormick® Fennel Seed

1 teaspoon McCormick® Chili Powder

1 teaspoon McCormick® Ginger, Ground

2 cloves garlic

1 1/2 pounds flank steak

Grated peel of 1 lemon

directions

1. Place soy sauce, oil, spices, garlic and lemon peel in food processor or blender; cover. Process until coarsely chopped. Place steak into large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well.

 

2. Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove steak from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.

 

3. Grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
